After 18 days our first Polydamus Swallowtails emerged from their chrysalis. Here is one of them hanging on an Indian Blanket flower waiting for its wings to dry. |

Today was the second time I have ever seen a Gray Hairstreak in my garden. I was finally able to get some good pictures. The first time I tried the butterfly just wouldn't sit still. |

A Black Swallowtail was flitting around the garden nectaring on the Red Pentas and laying eggs on the parsley. |
